The Effingham Lady Hearts built an early 20-point lead and then coasted to a 65-10 victory Tuesday night at Charleston.
Bria Beals scored eight points and Ella Niebrugge added six more, helping EHS race to a 24-2 lead after the first eight minutes. It was 43-2 at halftime.
Beals and Niebrugge both finished with 10 points to pace Effingham in scoring. Fourteen different girls played in the game and 11 of them scored.
The Lady Hearts improved to 18-9 overall and 5-5 in the Apollo Conference. They will play Friday at Lincoln.
