Due to the weather forecast and the possibility of significant snowfall, the schedule for the 87th annual National Trail Conference Tournament this week has been altered.
It will only affect the games scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday. Both of the Wednesday games have been cancelled and will now be played on Tuesday night. It will also result in the Tuesday games being played earlier than originally scheduled.
The games scheduled for tonight (Monday), Thursday, Friday and Saturday remain the same.
The Altamont Indians have been tabbed as the team to beat in this year’s NTC Tournament, receiving the No. 1 seed.
The other high seeds are No. 2 North Clay, No. 3 St. Anthony and No. 4 Windsor/Stew-Stras (WSS). The rest of the field includes No. 5 Dieterich, No. 6 St. Elmo/Brownstown (SEB), No. 7 South Central, No. 8 Neoga and No. 9 Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City (CHBC).
