Stacie Vonderheide and Addyson Rios combined to score 44 points Thursday night, helping the St. Anthony Lady Bulldogs get a big road win, a 59-52 victory over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City.

Macie Rodman scored 10 of her 16 points in the opening eight minutes, helping the Lady Bobcats build a 21-13 lead. But Vonderheide pumped in 10 points and Rios added nine more, as the Lady Bulldogs went on a 25-13 scoring run to take a 38-34 advantage at halftime.

St. Anthony was still on top 49-43 going into the final period and then hung on for the win. Vonderheide had six points in the fourth quarter.

Vonderheide had a double-double, finishing with 26 points and 10 rebounds. She also had seven steals and seven assists. Rios scored 18 points, pulled down four rebounds and also had five steals. In addition to Rodman, Baya Fingo and Ruby Stuckemeyer were both in double figures for CHBC, scoring 12 and 10 points respectively.

The Lady Bobcats dropped to 6-5 overall and 1-3 in the National Trail Conference. The Lady Bulldogs improved to 8-2 overall and are now 3-1 in league play.

St. Anthony will return to action Monday night. It will be the Cross Creek Rivalry, as the Lady Bulldogs will play at Teutopolis.
