The St. Anthony Lady Bulldogs opened National Trail Conference Tournament play in impressive fashion Monday afternoon, posting a 62-23 victory over Windsor/Stew-Stras.

The Lady Bulldogs, seeded No. 2, raced to a 19-5 lead after the first eight minutes and were never threatened. They led 30-9 at halftime and 46-21 entering the fourth quarter.

Stacie Vonderheide pumped in 28 points to lead all scorers. Adysen Rios was also in double figures with 11.

The Lady Bulldogs, who improved to 16-6 on the season, will now face Brownstown/St. Elmo in a semifinal contest. That game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

In other games Monday, No. 3 BSE defeated No. 6 Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City 49-42; No. 5 Dieterich upset No. 4 Neoga 60-54; and No. 8 South Central beat No. 9 North Clay 61-47.
