The lead went back-and-forth in the third quarter. After the Warriors took a slim 27-26 edge, Jaccob Dust turned in a three-point play to put the Bulldogs in front for good, 28-26.

St. Anthony was on top 34-27 after three quarters and had its largest lead, 37-29, early in the final period. Two steals by Casey-Westfield results in a basket by Livingston and a 3-pointer by Cole Branson to trim the margin to just three points, 40-37, with 3:05 to play.

On the ensuing possession, the Bulldogs ran 40 seconds off the clock before Dust got loose for a dunk to increase the lead to five. St. Anthony then made 6-of-8 free throws down the stretch to secure the victory.

Dust led St. Anthony with 20 points, while Webb added 12. Livingston scored 18 points for the Warriors, who dipped to 21-7 on the season.

The Bulldogs, who closed the regular season with a 25-3 record and own a No. 5 ranking in the Class 2A poll, will now play in the Bridgeport (Red Hill) Regional.

They are the top seed and will face either Cisne or Red Hill at 6 p.m. Wednesday. The regional championship is set for 7 p.m. Friday.

If all the favorites win their regional titles, the Casey-Westfield Sectional could include St. Anthony, Central A&M, Casey-Westfield and Altamont.
