The St. Anthony Lady Bulldogs used a big second half to pull away and post a 64-47 National Trail Conference victory Wednesday night at South Central.

St. Anthony held a slim 28-25 lead at halftime, but then took control in the final 16 minutes. Lucy Fearday scored 12 of her 14 points in the second half, helping the Lady Bulldogs outscore South Central 36-22.

Fearday had six points in the third period, while Riley Guy scored five and Izzy Hackman added four, as SAHS increased its lead to 46-35. In that final period, it was a steady parade to the foul line and the Lady Bulldogs converted 10-of-16 to expand its lead.

Guy led St. Anthony with 24 points. She had 16 of those in the first half. Hackman was also in double figures, adding 10 points to the offensive attack.

The Lady Bulldogs improved to 3-4 overall and 3-1 in the National Trail Conference. They will play again tonight (Thursday) at Altamont and then return home to face Sullivan on Saturday.
