The Teutopolis Wooden Shoes kept two streaks alive Monday afternoon.

They not only notched their seventh straight victory, they also recorded their third consecutive one-hit shutout.

Sam Bushur and Tyler Pruemer both tossed one-hitters Saturday against Putnam County and Cade Buehnerkemper made it three in a row with a one-hit gem against Dieterich.

The Wooden Shoes collected 11 hits, plus they received six walks and took advantage of seven errors to score nine unearned runs, en route to a 10-0, six-inning victory at home over the Movin’ Maroons.

Buehnerkemper was outstanding on the mound. He allowed only one hit – a lead-off single to Garrett Niebrugge in the sixth. The righthander struck out 11 and walked just one, while throwing 75 pitches.

Bushur accounted for the only run Buehnerkemper would need when he led off with a solo blast over the leftfield fence in the bottom of the first. The Shoes made it 2-0 in the second when Dylan Pruemer led off with a double and later scored on an error.

T-Town tallied three more times in the third. A base hit by Mitch Althoff and an error got things started. Logan Roepke then delivered a two-run single and Buehnerkemper added an RBI single.

The Shoes ended the game with a five-run sixth. Two errors let a pair of runs score, Jonathan Kemme added an RBI single and Mitch Althoff ended it with a two-run single.

The Shoes have now won 10 of their last 11 games and improved to 13-8 on the season. They are scheduled to play at home Wednesday against Windsor/Stew-Stras.
