The Teutopolis Lady Shoes played strong down the stretch Thursday night and came away with a 59-50 victory at St. Joseph-Ogden.
T-Town held a slim 43-42 lead entering the final eight minutes. Chloe Probst hit 4-of-5 from the free throw line and scored eight points, while Anna Probst knocked down a three-pointer, helping the Lady Shoes outscore the Lady Spartans 16-8 to secure the big road win.
The game was close throughout, but Teutopolis led at every stop. They were up 14-11 after the opening eight minutes and 32-28 at intermission.
Three Lady Shoes finished in double figures, led by Chloe Probst’s 20 points. Mollie Ruholl scored 13 points and Anna Probst added 10. Malea Helmink had a team-high eight rebounds and Ruholl had three steals.
T-Town improved to 5-3 on the season. The Lady Shoes will return home Monday night for a Cross Creek Rivalry matchup with St. Anthony.
