The Teutopolis Lady Shoes stretched their winning streak to six Thursday night, posting a 48-42 victory at home over Newton.

The game was close throughout. It was tied 11-11 after the opening eight minutes. The Lady Shoes then took a 25-21 lead at intermission.

Chloe Probst knocked down three three-pointers in the third period, helping T-Town increase its advantage to 40-32.  The Lady Shoes made just 2-of-6 free throws in the final quarter, but still secured the win.

Chloe Probst finished with four baskets from behind the arc and a game-high 16 points. Mollie Ruholl and Anna Probst both scored eight. Lilly Kessler had 15 points for the Lady Eagles, while Camryn Martin added 14.

The Lady Shoes are now 7-3. They will play Monday at Paris.
