Kamaree Pollard and Melaina Zedalis combined to score 54 points and help the Mt. Vernon Lady Rams rally for a 69-64 win at home Tuesday night over Teutopolis.

The Lady Shoes held a six-point lead at halftime, 35-29, but Zedalis pumped in 20 points and Pollard added 13 in the second half, helping the hosts outscore T-Town 40-29 in the final two quarters.

Chloe Probst and Allie Ruholl combined to score 24 first-half points for the Lady Shoes. Probst knocked down three shots from behind the arc, while Ruholl nailed two from long range, helping THS building the six-point lead at intermission.

Pollard finished with 29 points and Zedalis scored 25 for Mt. Vernon.

Teutopolis had four players in double figures. Chloe Probst led the way with 21 points, while Ruholl scored 17, Kelsey Niemerg had 12 and Anna Probst added 10.

It was the first loss of the season for the Lady Shoes, who are now 5-1. They will return to action Thursday with a game at Benton and will then have their home-opener Saturday afternoon against Olney.
