Pinckneyville outscored the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes 34-16 in the second half Saturday afternoon, en route to a 53-38 decision in the Sullivan Shootout.

The Shoes held a 22-19 halftime advantage, but the Panthers went on a 16-4 scoring run in the third period to gain control of the game. Pinckneyville held a 35-26 lead and then outscored T-Town 18-12 in the final eight minutes to secure the win and improve to 9-1 for the season.

Alex Kremer turned in a game-high 15 points for the Shoes, while Mick Niebrugge and Gavin Addis scored eight and seven points respectively.

The Shoes dipped to 6-3 on the season. They will return to action Thursday in the Effingham-Teutopolis Christmas Classic. They will face Charleston at 7:30 p.m. at J.H. Griffin Gymnasium.
