Both the Teutopolis boys and girls golf teams were in action Wednesday afternoon.
The Lady Shoes hosted Charleston, while the T-Town boys played in a quadrangular match in Olney.
The THS girls dropped a 194-222 decision to the Lady Trojans. Averie Bushue paced the Lady Shoes with a nine-hole score of 49. Abigail Wortman shot a 52, Maggie Koester 58 and Alaina Helmink 61 to complete the team scoring. Mollie Koester (68) also participated.
The Shoes finished fourth in Olney. The host Tigers were the winners with a total of 165 strokes. Charleston was runner-up with 171, Fairfield shot 181 and T-Town finished at 206.
Drew Kerner led the Shoes with a nine-hole score of 46. Andy Niebrugge carded a 48, while Zach Ruholl shot 53 and Gavin Meyer finished at 59.
Others playing for Teutopolis were Gabe Schlink (60), Peyton Tegeler (67), Paul Niemerg (68), Kayden Zerrusen (69), Gage Wendt (70), Aiden Spour (70) and Nick Buehnerkemper (70).
The Teutopolis girls team will play today (Thursday) at Mt. Zion.
The boys will also be in action today with a match at Casey-Westfield.
