Alex Deters scored two goals and added an assist Tuesday, leading Teutopolis to a 6-0 soccer win at home over Newton.

Alex Deters had his assist on a goal by Alessio Bucciarelli, who scored less than four minutes into the contest to put the Shoes up 1-0. Deters and Noah Hemmen also scored in the first half, as THS built a 4-0 lead.

Both Alex Deters and Derek Deters scored in the second half.

The Shoes improved to 13-3-1 with the win. They will play Saturday at Breese Mater Dei.
