Talk about domination.
The Teutopolis Wooden Shoes won 24 of 26 matches Saturday to easily claim first place in the Casey-Westfield Doubles Tournament.
Both the No. 1 and No. 2 THS doubles team went undefeated to win their division and the No. 3 and No. 4 pairs lost once and finished second.
Here are the THS results:
No. 1 doubles: Alli Brumleve/Macy Probst went 7-0. They defeated Eva Richardson/Gwendalyn Eckerty (Casey-Westfield), 6-1; Rachel Thomas/Abigail Geisler (Charleston), 5-2; Sonae Shelton/Lanie Carder (Flora), 7-0; Michelle Roberts/Caroline Baker (Mt. Zion), 7-0; Claire Griffith/Allison Harris (Newton), 7-0; Kaitlyn Mathews/Sarah Isaf (Paris), 4-3; and Alysha Clements/Lucy List (Robinson), 6-1.
No. 2 doubles: Isabelle Hemmen/Grace Hoene finished 6-0/ They defeated Emily Sherwood/Emma Mason (Casey-Westfield), 5-2; Meleah Hackett/Rainer Fullermoore (Charleston), 6-1; Sage Lauper-Cook/Alexis Mallory (Mt. Zion), 6-1; Madison Emmerich/Lindsey McClain (Newton), 6-1; Kendall Mathews/Chloe Waltz (Paris), 7-0; and Stevee Walker/Ella Dorfmueller (Robinson), 6-1.
No. 3 doubles: Diana Mossman/Lexi Will were 6-1. They defeated Sydney Littlejohn/Genny Davidson (Casey-Westfield), 6-1; Lexie Madlem/Maggie Goetten (Charleston), 7-0; Emma Griffith/Ava Cammon (Flora), 7-0; Anna Brunner/Sara Addai (Mt. Zion), 7-0; Jessilyn Hall/Kaitlyn Olmstead (Newton), 6-1; and Jenna Gates/Emma Campbell (Paris), 7-0. They lost to Mia Hargis/Sarah Staller (Robinson), 3-4.
No. 4 doubles: Kenna Koester/Carley Habing went 5-1. They defeated Amilynn Zellers/Carly Zachary (Casey-Westfield), 6-2; Hannah Larson/Lyla Long (Charleston), 7-0; Avy Nichols/Madison H. (Flora), 6-1; Allison Bradford/Audrey Bradford (Mt. Zion), 7-0; and Destanee Liston/Lisa Henry (Robinson), 4-3. They lost to Chloe Noel/Dani Brooks (Paris), 3-4.
The Lady Shoes will play today (Monday) at home against Mattoon.
