St. Anthony took advantage of nine errors to score five unearned runs, en route to a 9-0 win at home over Ramsey Monday afternoon.
Seth Hotze and Brody Niebrugge combined to toss a two-hitter. Hotze went the first four innings to get the win. He allowed just one hit, while walking four and striking out three. Niebrugge pitched the final three innings to get the save. He also allowed only one hit, while walking one and fanning six.
The Bulldogs scored what proved to be the two winning runs in the second. Aaron Webb reached on an error and went to second on a sacrifice bunt. He then stole third and scored on a sacrifice fly by Gavin Braunecker. Eli Moore then got a two-single, went to second on an error and scored on a base hit by Angelo Mendella.
St. Anthony then tacked on six more runs in the third. Jack Hoene and Kaden Fearday both had RBI singles and Braunecker drew a base loaded walk. The other three runs all scored on errors.
The Bulldogs pushed across their final run in the fifth on a wild pitch.
