No, it’s not a typo.

The St. Anthony Lady Bulldogs defeated Casey-Westfield 59-2 Monday night.

The Lady Warriors got a free throw in the first quarter and another in the fourth period and that was it. They did not make a single basket.

So the game was over quickly.

The Lady Bulldogs got eight points from Lucy Fearday and four more from Grace Karolewicz, while jumping out to an 18-1 lead after the initial eight minutes.

Casey-Westfield didn’t score a single point in the middle two quarters. Heading into the fourth period, St. Anthony led 46-1.

Fearday finished with 22 points, while Karolewicz scored 12 and Anna Faber added 10.

St. Anthony is now 11-8 on the season. The Lady Bulldogs will be back in action Thursday with a home game against Shelbyville.
