Nancy Ruholl was unstoppable, especially in the first period.

She connected on three shots from behind the arc and scored 21 points – all in the first eight minutes – helping the St. Anthony Lady Bulldogs break out to an early lead and then coast to a 61-18 victory at home over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City.

The Lady Bulldogs led 24-4 after the first quarter, expanded it to 37-14 at halftime and took a 50-18 advantage into the fourth period.

Ruholl finished with a game-high 34 points. Addi Nuxholl added nine.

The Lady Bulldogs, who improved to 9-1 overall and 4-0 in the National Trail Conference, will return to action Monday. They will welcome the Teutopolis Lady Shoes to the Enlow Center.
