It was quite the opening weekend for the St. Anthony Bulldogs.

After posting a whopping 39-point win over Neoga Friday night, the Bulldogs were right back in action 24 hours later at The Enlow Center.

It wasn’t nearly as easy Saturday night, but Logan Antrim pumped in nine fourth-quarter points that helped St. Anthony pull away from a tight game and post a 53-46 victory over Robinson.

The Bulldogs held a slim 12-10 lead after the opening eight minutes, but the game was tied 23-23 at halftime and 35-35 after three quarters.

In that final period, SAHS got a 3-pointer from Grant Nuxoll and also converted 11-of-17 free throws. Antrim was 5-of-6 from the foul stripe.

Antrim, who was held to just five points through three periods, finished with a game-high 14 points. Kennan Walsh, Nuxoll and Craig Croy each scored eight for the Bulldogs.

St. Anthony will play two games this coming week. They will travel to North Clay for a National Trail Conference contest Tuesday night and then return home to face Newton on Saturday.
