Windsor/Stew-Stras raced to a quick lead Monday night and went on to post a 58-36 victory at home over the St. Anthony Lady Bulldogs.

Mikaka Nichols and Hannah Hayes combined for 18 points in the opening eight minutes, helping the Lady Hatchets open a 20-7 lead. The margin expanded to 33-16 at halftime and 50-25 after three periods.

Nichols ended with 20 points, while Hayes scored 13 and Ella Kinkelaar added 12.

Riley Guy and Lucy Fearday both scored nine points for St. Anthony and Reese Jones had seven.

The Lady Bulldogs dipped to 2-4 overall and 2-1 in the National Trail Conference. They will play three more games this week – Wednesday at St. Elmo/Brownstown; Thursday at Altamont; and Saturday at home against Sullivan.
