The Meisenhelter boys proved to be a handful Monday night.

The brothers – Graham and Grant – combined to score 51 points and lead Macon Meridian to a 73-65 win at St. Anthony.

The host Bulldogs led most of the first half. Logan Antrim scored eight points and Grant Nuxoll knocked down a shot from long range added seven more, helping SAHS build a 21-15 lead after the opening eight minutes.

Graham Meisenhelter kept the Hawks close by scoring 14 of his game-high 34 points in the first half. By halftime, Macon Meridian had closed to within 35-34.

Grant Meisenhelter had seven of his 17 points in the third period to help the Hawks take a 51-48 lead and then Graham took over in the final period. He poured in 16 points, including 9-of-12 free throws, to help Meridian expand its lead.

St. Anthony had a balanced scoring attack, placing four players in double figures. Antrim led the way with 17 points, while Craig Croy and Nuxoll both had 13 and Kennan Walsh chipped in 11.

St. Anthony dipped to 9-4 overall. The Bulldogs will travel to Louisville Wednesday night to face North Clay. They are 7-0 in the National Trail Conference and can wrap up the NTC title with a victory.

The Bulldogs will then close out their season at home Friday night. They will face Dieterich in the NTC Shootout.
