The St. Anthony Lady Bulldogs built a double-digit lead by halftime Saturday and rolled to a 53-38 National Trail Conference victory at St. Elmo/Brownstown.

Riley Guy pumped in eight first-quarter points, helping the Lady Bulldogs go on top 12-7. Lucy Fearday then scored seven points in the second period, SAHS went on a 20-11 scoring run and led 32-18 at intermission.

St. Anthony didn’t let up in the third quarter, expanding its lead to 18 points, 45-27, entering the final eight minutes.

Fearday scored 15 points and Riley added 13 to lead the Lady Bulldogs.

The Lady Bulldogs improved to 5-7 overall and 5-3 in the National Trail Conference. They will play at Effingham Tuesday night and then finish their season Thursday night, hosting Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City in the NTC Shootout. Game time will be at 5 p.m.
