The postseason will get underway for the Class 1A and Class 2A baseball teams next week.

The St. Anthony Bulldogs are a No. 2 seed, while the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes will open as a No. 4 seed.

The Bulldogs will play in the Class 1A Altamont Regional and the Shoes will compete in the Class 2A Vandalia Regional.

Both St. Anthony and Teutopolis will then host sectional tournaments.

Monday, May 16

Game 1 – 4:30 p.m. – Ramsey (10) vs. Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City (6)

Wednesday, May 18

Game 2 – 4:30 p.m. – St. Anthony (2) vs. Winner Game 1

Game 3 – 6:30 p.m. – Altamont (4) vs. Brownstown/St. Elmo (5)

Saturday, May 21

Game 4 – 10 a.m. – Winner Game 2 vs. Winner Game (championship)

Winners of the regionals in Altamont, Casey-Westfield, Bethany (Okaw Valley) and Louisville (North Clay) will compete in the St. Anthony Sectional. Games will begin Wednesday, May 25.

Vandalia Regional

Monday, May 16

Game 1 – 4:30 p.m. – Vandalia (8) vs. Greenville (6)

Wednesday, May 18

Game 2 – 4 p.m. – Paris (1) vs. Winner Game 1

Game 3 – 6 p.m. – Teutopolis (4) vs. Salem (5)

Saturday, May 21

Game 4 – 1 p.m. – Winner Game 2 vs. Winner Game 3 (championship)

Winners of the regionals in Vandalia, Newton, Breese Central and Alton (Marquette) will compete in the Teutopolis sectional. Games will begin Wednesday, May 25.
