The Teutopolis Wooden Shoes reached the 20-win plateau Thursday, rolling to a 17-3, five-inning win at Olney.

The Shoes banged out 13 hits and took advantage of four Olney errors. They scored in all five innings.

That was more than enough support for Sam Bushur. He pitched four shutout innings, allowing just one hit. He walked two and struck out two. Peyton Tegeler and Max Niebrugge both pitched in the bottom of the fifth.

The Shoes scored single tallies in the first and second before breaking the game open the next three innings. They scored four times in both the third and fifth and added seven runs in the fourth.

In the third, Cade Buehnerkemper and Kayden Althoff were both hit by pitches and Mitch Althoff walked to load the bases. One run scored on a wild pitch, Garrett Gaddis had an RBI single and Derek Konkel capped the inning with a two-run double.

T-Town combined four hits, two walks, two more hit batters and an error to score seven times in the fourth. Dylan Pruemer had a two-run single in that inning. The Shoes had five more hits in the fifth and built a 17-0 lead. The Tigers scored their runs in the bottom of the fifth.

THS finished with 13 hits with 11 different batters having at least one.

The Shoes are now 20-10 on the season. They will return home today (Friday) to face Fairfield and will travel to Williamsville on Saturday to close out the regular season.
