Highland took advantage of six errors, en route to a 7-2 victory at home Friday over Teutopolis.

The Bulldogs scored two runs in the second and third and added three more in the seventh.

A Wooden Shoes error led to two unearned runs in the second and two more miscues in the fourth allowed three more unearned runs to cross the plate.

T-Town did have single tallies in the sixth and seventh.

In the sixth, Conner Hoelscher was hit by a pitch, Mick Niebrugge singled and Evan Waldhoff drove in the run with a ground out.

Joey Niebrugge doubled in the seventh and came in to score on an RBI single by Hoelscher.

Garrett Gaddis took the loss. He pitched 3.2 innings, allowing five hits and six runs. He walked five and struck out two. Davin Worman and Joey Niebrugge finished up.

The Shoes dipped to 17-9. They will be back in action today (Saturday), playing in the Edwardsville Classic. They are scheduled to face Edwardsville at 10 a.m. and Glenwood at 12:30 p.m.
