In a game that was close the whole way, the Pana Lady Panthers pulled out a 39-38 overtime victory at home over Teutopolis Monday night.

The Lady Shoes jumped out to a 9-2 lead after the first period, but Pana rallied to tie the score at 16-16 at halftime. The game was tied 28-28 after three quarters and knotted at 33-33 at the end of regulation. The Lady Panthers outscored T-Town 6-5 in the overtime period.

It was a cold shooting night for the Lady Shoes. They made just 14-of-48 attempts, an icy 29 percent. They were 3-for-12 from three-point range, a 25 percent clip.

Kaitlyn Schumacher had a double-double performance for THS, finishing with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Zoe Cremens and Emily Konkel both scored eight and Izzy Hardiek pulled down 10 rebounds.

The Lady Shoes dipped to 4-2 on the season. They will return to action Thursday at St. Joe-Ogden.
