The Teutopolis Wooden Shoes will participate in the Panther Basketball Showcase in Pinckneyville.

The 8-game, 16-team event will be played on Saturday, Jan. 28.

The Wooden Shoes will play the host Pinckneyville team in the final game of the day, scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

The other games are – Steeleville vs. Christopher at 9 a.m.; Greenville vs. Murphysboro at 10:30 a.m.; Waltonville vs. Chester at noon; Robinson vs. Meridian at 1:30 p.m.; Newton vs. Marion at 3 p.m.; Eureka vs. Mascoutah at 4:30 p.m.; and Centralia vs. Triad at 6 p.m.
