The Teutopolis Lady Shoes opened their 2024-25 season in dominating style Monday night, posting a 65-11 victory over Terre Haute South Vigo in an opening round game of the North American Lighting Tournament in Paris.

T-Town built a 17-4 lead after the first eight and then cruised to the 54-point win. The Lady Shoes outscored Vigo 38-1 in the middle two quarters to extend their lead to 55-5.

Chloe Probst and Kelsey Niemerg both scored in double figures, finishing with 14 and 11 points respectively. Malea Helmink came close to a double-double, scoring nine points and pulling down 12 rebounds.

Teutopolis will return to tournament action Wednesday, facing Champaign Central at 6:45 p.m.
