Anna Probst knocked down a trio of three-pointers in the opening quarter Monday night, helping the Teutopolis Lady Shoes race to a big lead, en route to an easy 79-39 win at Neoga.

Anna Probst added a pair of free throws to go along with her three shots from behind the arc, helping the Lady Shoes take a commanding 25-4 lead after the opening eight minutes.

And the gap just continued to expand. By halftime, T-Town was up 49-17 and heading into the fourth period, it was a 70-34 score, resulting in a continuously running clock.

Teutopolis had four players in double figures. Mollie Ruholl led the way with 17 points, while Chloe Probst scored 16, Anna Probst had 14 and Kelsey Niemerg added 10.

The Lady Shoes completed their regular season with a 23-8 record. The next time they take the floor, it will be in the Palestine Regional. T-Town is the No. 2 seed and will play either Toledo or Marshall. That game is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18.
