Teutopolis notched its eighth volleyball win of the fall season Thursday with a two-game victory at Neoga.
The scores were 25-11, 25-21.
According to THS coach Tim Mills, the biggest cheer of the night came when Ciara Repking blasted a shot into a Neoga blocker. The ball bounced all the way over the court and through the basketball goal.
“Nothing but net,” Mills said. “It was a funny moment.”
For the Lady Shoes, Kelsey Deters had 5 digs, 3 kills, 7 serves, 4 points, 49 sets and 26 assists; Holly Heuerman 3 digs, 5 serves, 2 aces, 3 points, 1 set; Emily Konkel 5 hits, 3 kills, 3 serves, 1 set; Carly Michels 5 digs, 12 hits, 9 kills, 7 serves, 1 ace, 5 points, 1 set; Erica Michels 2 digs, 15 hits, 10 kills, 5 serves, 4 points; Ciara Repking 7 digs, 0 hits, 7 kills, 9 serves, 6 points, 3 sets/ Kaitlyn Schumacher 5 hits, 1 kill; and Julia Probst 1 digs, 3 serves, 1 point and 1 set.
The T-Town junior varsity and freshman teams also posted wins. The JV won by scores of 25-19, 10-25, 25-12; and the freshman won 25-19, 25-11.
The Lady Shoes, now 8-5 overall, will play Saturday in the Charleston Tournament.
