After having their 10-game winning streak snapped Friday at Altamont, the St. Anthony Bulldogs got back on track with an 8-2 win Saturday at Marshall.

The Bulldogs grabbed the lead with a four-run third and were never threatened. They also scored a pair of runs in the fourth and added single tallies in the sixth and seventh.

In the third, Connor Roepke made it to second base on an error. He then came in to score when Brock Jansen’s bunt was thrown away. Eli Levitt then doubled and Beau Adams delivered an RBI single. The final two runs scored on another throwing error.

Levitt added a two-run double in the fourth and Roepke ripped a solo homer in the sixth. The final run came in on an RBI double by Angelo Mendella in the seventh.

Brock Jansen worked the first four innings to get the win. He gave up just one hit and one run, while walking three and striking out six. Josh Blanchette pitched the final three innings.

The Bulldogs are now 12-3 on the season. They will return to action Monday with a game at Dieterich.
