Colton Fearday pitched six strong innings and Brady Hatton delivered the go-ahead hit, helping the St. Anthony Bulldogs rally for a 5-2 win Wednesday at Windsor/Stew-Stras.
Fearday actually came on in relief in the second inning, He scattered four hits over six innings of work and allowed just one run. He walked one and struck out 12 to get the win. Hatton pitched the first inning.
The Bulldogs trailed 2-1 when they came to bat in the fifth inning. Eli Levitt led off with a base hit and Colton Fearday walked with one out. Will Hoene tied the game with an RBI double and Hatton followed with a two-run double to put SAHS on top.
Connor Roepke had the other two RBI in the game for St. Anthony. He belted a solo home run in the second and then drove in a seventh-inning run with a sacrifice fly.
The Bulldogs improved to 15-3 on the season. They will play Friday at Sacred Heart Griffin in Springfield and then return home to play Shelbyville on Saturday.
