Kade Allen went 4-for-5 with four RBI and Ty Brachbill drove in three more, leading the Shelbyville Rams to their 21st straight victory, an 11-7 victory at St. Anthony.

Allen had RBI singles in the second and fourth that helped the Rams build a 7-5 lead and then added a two-run single in the three-run seventh that gave Shelbyville an 11-5 cushion. The Rams also took advantage of five St. Anthony errors to score four unearned runs and improve to 21-1 on the season.

The Bulldogs led 4-3 after scoring two runs in each of the first two innings. Will Hoene had a two-run single in the first. Connor Roepke then ripped an RBI double in the second and later scored on a wild pitch.

Angelo Mendella belted a solo homer in the third to increase the SAHS lead to 5-3. But Shelbyville scored three times in the fourth, once in the fifth and added three more runs in the seventh. Colton Fearday had a two-run single in the bottom of the seventh to get the Bulldogs a little closer.

Brock Fearday, the second of four St. Anthony pitchers, took the loss. He relieved in the third and pitched two innings, allowing three hits and four unearned runs. Brody Niebrugge was the starter. Eli Levitt and Brock Jansen also pitched.

The Bulldogs dipped to 15-4 on the season. They will play at home Monday against North Clay.
