The St. Anthony Lady Bulldogs are making a habit of putting together big innings.

They did it again Tuesday, pushing nine runs across in the first inning and then rolling to a 17-2 win at Neoga.

Grace Karolewicz had three hits to lead the 16-hit attack.

In that first inning, Cameron Rios got things started with a lead-off double. She stole third and scored on a ground out by Addie Wernsing. Then with two outs, Lucy Fearday doubled, the first of nine straight batters to reach base.

Before the inning ended, Anna Faber had an RBI triple and Abbi Hatton, Hailey Niebrugge and Karolewicz each had run-scoring singles. SAHS also scored a pair of runs on two wild pitches and added two more runs on an error.

The Lady Bulldogs also scored four runs in each of the third and fourth innings to end the game.

Fearday was the winning pitcher.

The Lady Bulldogs improved to 12-3 on the season. They will return home Thursday to face Windsor/Stew-Stras.
