It was a low-scoring affair Saturday, but the St. Anthony Bulldogs came out on top, posting a 35-23 non-conference victory at Flora.
The Bulldogs built an 11-7 lead after the opening period and increased that to 24-15 at intermission. Entering the final eight minutes, St. Anthony had a double-digit advantage, 33-21. Both teams scored only two points in the final eight minutes.
Craig Croy was the only double figure scorer in the game, finishing with 10 points. Seth Hotze scored eight and both Ty Wiedman and Grant Nuxoll added six.
St. Anthony improved to 7-2 overall and 4-0 in the NTC. The Bulldogs will play three games this week, starting with a big National Trail Conference match-up Tuesday night at home against Altamont. Both teams are 4-0 in league play.
