Kelsey Niemerg scored nine points in the fourth quarter Saturday afternoon, helping the Teutopolis Lady Shoes pull away from Paris and post a 57-41 victory at home.

The Lady Shoes led throughout, but it was only a seven-point spread, 37-30, entering the final eight minutes. Niemerg hit two jumpers and went 5-for-6 at the foul line, as T-Town outscored the Lady Tigers 20-11 to secure their sixth straight win.

Chloe Probst and Niemerg both knocked down three-pointers and scored five points in the opening period and the Lady Shoes grabbed a 14-7 lead. It was 26-19 at halftime.

Macy Bicknell led Paris with a game-high 19 points. The Lady Tigers, who have now lost twice to T-Town, dropped to 11-4 for the season.

Niemerg finished with 18 points, while Chloe Probst scored 16 and Anna Probst added 11. The Lady Shoes shot 49 percent overall, connecting on 20-of-41 shots. They were 6-for-12 from three-point range and 11-for-13 at the free throw line. T-Town also owned a 26-17 rebounding advantage, with Malea Helmink pulling down 13 boards.

The Lady Shoes improved to 15-2 overall. They will return to action Thursday with a game at Mattoon.
