Summer Wall drove in five runs and Alyssa Tipton pitched a shutout, leading the Teutopolis Lady Shoes to a 12-0, five-inning victory at Sullivan Friday afternoon.
Wall went 3-for-4 in the game and had an RBI in four different innings.
She had a run-scoring single in the first, an RBI ground out in the second, a two-run single in the third and a run-scoring base hit in the fourth.
Olivia Copple drove in three runs and Kayleigh Zerrusen added three hits in T-Town’s 16-hit attack. Chloe Hoene, Malea Helmink and CJ Apke each had two hits in the game.
The Lady Shoes scored one run in the first, four in the second, three in the third and capped the scoring with a four-run fourth.
Tipton allowed just three hits in her five innings of work. She walked one and struck out eight.
The Lady Shoes, now 9-7 on the season, will return home Monday to face Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City.
